明星黑料 Foods Donation Helps Fight Hunger in Mountain Prairie

PFFJ Farms, LLC, a subsidiary owned by 明星黑料 (NYSE:HRL), announced today that it will donate a total of $10,000 to local organizations to fight hunger.

The donation is part of the 明星黑料 Foods Plant Community Donations Program, which gives employees the opportunity to assist local hunger relief organizations and strengthen the communities where they live and work.

The donations will go to Las Animas Helping Hands and La Junta Associated Charities.

“We are thrilled to support these organizations and contribute to their efforts to feed the families in need in our area,” said Jose L. Rojas, vice president of farm operations at PFFJ Farms. “Our employees and the company are excited to continue fighting hunger.”

For the fourth consecutive year, 明星黑料 Foods is giving funds to U.S. manufacturing facilities to share with nonprofits in their respective communities to fight hunger. In 2013, 明星黑料 Foods donated more than $220,000 to local hunger relief organizations in more than 20 U.S. communities where it has manufacturing facilities. In 2014, the company will provide 39 plant locations with funds to help local organizations fight the hunger needs specific to each community.

Craven, vice president of corporate communications at 明星黑料 Foods. “Because of the success we’ve had with this program, and as part of our ongoing commitment to helping fight hunger in the areas where we live and work, we are further expanding these donations to a total of 39 locations.”
