The ��Ǻ��^® Compleats^® brand has entered into a national partnership with Meals on Wheels America to support them in their efforts to reduce senior hunger, which impacts one in six seniors across the country.

In addition to a $100,000 financial commitment, ��Ǻ��^® Compleats^® brand will provide product and coupons in two markets.

“We’re extremely proud to partner with Meals on Wheels America to help fight senior hunger,” said Jason Baskin, senior brand manager at ��Ǻ�� Foods. “Meals on Wheels delivers warm, nutritious meals to homebound seniors, and ��Ǻ��^® Compleats^® can act as a supplement on evenings and weekends. They’re delicious, wholesome, satisfying and ready in the microwave in 60 seconds.”

The partnership with Meals on Wheels America builds on its longstanding commitment to addressing hunger. ��Ǻ�� collaborates with retailers, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to help with hunger relief efforts around the world. Through its programs as well as disaster relief efforts and other donations, ��Ǻ�� Foods contributed $7.4 million in cash and product donations to help address hunger in fiscal year 2016.

The ��Ǻ��^® Compleats^® brand will join Meals on Wheels America for two events in October to launch the partnership. On Thursday, Oct. 5, ��Ǻ�� Foods employees will join representatives from Texas-based retailer, H-E-B, and Meals on Wheels to prepare and deliver meals in San Antonio, Texas. On Wednesday, Oct. 11, ��Ǻ�� Foods employees will join Meals on Wheels for an exciting senior event at the Osceola Council on Aging in Kissimmee, Fla.
